Specialist Grade III Assistant Professor:- 24 vacancies

  • Qualification/ Eligibility Criteria:- Eligible applicants applying for the position of specialist grade – III assistant Professor should have recognized MBBS degree qualification included in the first schedule or the second schedule or part II of the third schedule (Other than licentiate qualification) to the Indian medical council Act, 1956 (102 of 1956), Holders of education qualification in Sub – section (3) of section 13 of the Indian medical council Act, 1956 (102 of 1956) / post – graduation degree in the concerned specialty or super – specially i.e. Magister Chirurgic (Surgical Oncology) or master of surgery or master of Surgery (Ear / Nose / Throat) or master of Surgery )Orthopedics’) or Doctor of medicine (Obstetrics and Gynecology) with two year special training in Surgical Oncology.
  • Experience:- Eligible applicants applying for the position of specialist grade – III assistant Professor should have at least three year teaching experience as senior resident or tutor or Demonstrator or Registrar in the concerned specialty or super specialty in a recognized institution after obtaining the first post – graduation degree.
  • Candidate Salary detail:- Rs 15600 – 39100/- Per Month
  • Age Limit (In yrs.):- The age of the eligible applicant applying for the position of specialist grade – III assistant Professor should be 40 years.
  • Mode of Selection:- The selection of the eligible applicant applying for the position of specialist grade – III assistant Professor will be on the basis of computer based recruitment examination and personal interview.

Specialist Grade III:- 02 vacancies

  • Qualification/ Eligibility Criteria:- Eligible applicants applying for the position of civilian medical officer should have recognized medical qualification included in the first schedule or part II of the third schedule (other than licentiate qualification) to the Indian medical council Act, 1956. Holders of the educational qualification included in art II of the third schedule should fulfill the condition stipulated in sub – section (3) of section 13 of the Indian medical council act, 1956.
  • Desirable:- Eligible applicants applying for the position of civilian medical officer having post – graduation medical qualification in any discipline.
  • Candidate Salary detail:- Rs 15600 – 39100/- Per Month
  • Age Limit (In yrs.):- The age of the eligible applicant applying for the position of civilian medical officer should be 35 years.
  • Mode of Selection:- The selection of the eligible applicant applying for the position of civilian medical officer will be on the basis of computer based recruitment examination and personal interview.

Application fee:- Interested and eligible applicants applying for the position are required to pay application fee Rs 25/- either by depositing the money in any branch of state bank of India by cash or by using net banking facility of the state bank of India or by using visa card / master card / debit card. Schedule caste categories candidates (SC) / Schedule tribe categories candidates (ST) are exempted from application fee.

Age Relaxation:- The upper age of the eligible applicant applying for the position is relaxable for the following specified categories:-
i) By 5 years for candidates belonging to ST communities.
ii) By 5 years for candidates belonging to SC communities.
iii) By 3 years for candidates belonging to OBC communities.
iv) By 10 years for candidates belonging to PH communities.

General Instruction:-

  1. Applicant will be eligible to get the benefit of community reservation only in case the particular caste to which the applicant belong to include in the lists of reserved communities issued by the Central government.
  2. The test will be of two hours duration and will carry a maximum of 100 marks and the medium of the question paper will be English only.
  3. The test will be objective type question with multiple choice answers.
  4. Shortlisted applicants would be asked to submit the certificates
  5. The applicants are directed to undertake the CBRT at their own risk.

Union Public service commission (UPSC), the royal commission on the supreme civil services in India under the chairman – ship of lord lee, which submitted its report in 1924, recommended the setting up of the public service commission. This led to the establishment of the first public service commission on 1st October 1926 under the chairman – ship of Sir Ross Barker.
