Qualification/ Eligibility Criteria:- Eligible applicants applying for the position of junior civil engineer should have passed HSLC with three year diploma certificate in civil engineering course from a recognized university / institute / college and applicant should have knowledge of Mizo language at least middle school standard.

Candidate Salary detail:- Rs  9300 – 34800/- Per Month

Age Limit (In yrs.):- The age of the eligible applicant applying for the position of junior civil engineer should not be less than 18 years and should not be more than 35 years. The age of the applicant should be as on 10th March 2016.

Mode of Selection:- The selection of the eligible applicant applying for the position of junior civil engineer will be on the basis of written examination and personal interview.

Application fee:- Interested and eligible applicants applying for the position of junior civil engineer are required to pay application fee Rs 320/- for general categories candidates and Rs 270/- for schedule caste categories candidates (SC) / schedule tribe categories candidates (ST). Applicants should be paid by cash at the reception counter of Mizoram public service commission office or by depositing into the treasury under the head – 0051 – PSC, 102-state PSC (Examination fee etc.) or by un-crossed Indian postal order (IPO) drawn in the favor of Secretary, Mizoram public service commission.

Age Relaxation:- The upper age relaxation to the applicants applying for the position of junior civil engineer is only for the following special categories:-
i) 5 years for candidates belonging to Schedule caste (SC) categories candidates.
ii) 5 years for candidates belonging to Schedule Tribe (ST) categories candidates.
iii) 3 years for candidates belonging to Other Backward class (OBC) categories candidates.

How to apply:- Interested and eligible applicants applying for the position of junior civil engineer may send their application along with attested copies of IPO / Challan form . HSLC certificate / mark sheets / caste certificate and other relevant certificates to the office of Deputy commissioner, Mizoram Public service commission, New Secretariat complex, Aizwal on or before 10th March 2016.
