Sindh becomes first Pakistani province to adopt Hindu marriage Bill
Sindh becomes first Pakistani province to adopt landmark Hindu Marriage Bill, 2015 in order to allow the minority community to register their marriages.
This is for the first such a law is being passed since formation of Pakistan in 1947 to safeguard rights of Hindu, a second largest religious minority community in the country.
Union Government unveils National Capital Goods Policy 2016
The Union Government has unveiled a National Capital Goods Policy 2016 to give an impetus to the capita; goods sector and the Make in India initiative.
It was unveiled by Union Minister of heavy Industry & Public Enterprise Anant Geet on the occasion of the Make in India week held in Mumbai, Maharashtra.
This is for the first time, Union Government has framed such national policy for the goods sector.
Haryana , South Korean to collaborate on technology, Development
Haryana and South Korean state of Chungcheongbuk have agreed to enter into a sister-statehood relationship for development.
In this regard , Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar accepted the proposal for such a relationship made by a visiting south Korean delegation.
South Korean State is also looking to have close relationship with Haryana in the field South Korean in the field of technology . Besides, Haryana Government also invited South Korean investors to be held in Gurgaon in March 2016.

Union Government cuts interest rate on short term small saving below five years by 0.25% including post office deposits and Kisan Vikas Patras. DRDO Defence Research and Development Organization has decided to conduct captive fight trials of advanced, state of the art Anti- Radiation Missile I April-May 2016.
During captive flight trials DRDO scientist will evaluate performance of the missile’s heat seeker, structural capability, navigation and control system and aerodynamic vibrations.
West Bengal Government launches Utkarsh Bangla Scheme
West Bengal Government has launched the Utkarsh Bangla Scheme with an aim of providing vocational training to school dropouts.
This scheme was launched by the Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee in Kolkata. On this occasion, she also released a book on Utkarsh in Bnagla.
Objectives of this scheme is to give vocational training to school dropouts by providing training ranging from 400 to 1200 hours free of charge.
