Regional Transport Officer:- 11 Posts

  • Qualification/ Eligibility Criteria:- Eligible applicants applying for the position of regional transport officer should have degree in mechanical engineering and automobile engineering from a recognized  university.
  • Candidate Salary detail:- Rs 28100 – 50100 /- per month
  • Age Limit (In yrs.):- The age of the eligible applicant applying for the position of regional transport officer should not be less than 18 and should not be more than 40 years.
  • Mode of Selection:- The selection of the eligible applicant applying for the position of regional transport officer will be on the basis of written examination and personal interview.

Inspector of motor vehicles:- 151 Posts

  • Qualification/ Eligibility Criteria:- Eligible applicants applying for the position of inspector of motor vehicles  should have pass in 10th class with valid driving license. Degree and diploma in mechanical engineering and automobile engineering from a recognized  university and have relevant experience in automobile workshop.
  • Candidate Salary detail:- Rs 17650 – 32000/- per month
  • Age Limit (In yrs.):- The age of the eligible applicant applying for the position of inspector of motor vehicles should not be less than 18 and should not be more than 40 years.
  • Mode of Selection:- The selection of the eligible applicant applying for the position of inspector of motor vehicles will be on the basis of written examination and personal interview.

Examination fee:- Applicants applying for the position of regional transport officer and inspector of motor vehicle are required to pay application fee Rs.300/- for general  Merit, category 2A,2B,3A and 3B, Rs.25/- for schedule cast and schedule tribe and category-1, PH and EX-MP candidates through e-payment post officers only.

Age Relaxation:- The upper age relaxation to the applicants is only for the following special categories:-
i) 5 years for candidates belonging to Schedule caste (SC) categories candidates.
ii) 5 years for candidates belonging to Schedule Tribe (ST) categories candidates.
iii) 3 years for candidates belonging to Other Backward class (OBC) categories candidates.
