Educational Qualification:- Candidates applying for the position of Detective Sub – Inspector (DSI) men and women should have degree in law or degree in engineering / Technology recognized by AICTE or master degree in computer application.

Selection Instruction:- The selection of the candidates applying for the position of Detective Sub – Inspector (DSI) men and women will be on the basis of written examination and personal interview.

Age Limit:- The age of the candidate applying for the position of Detective Sub – Inspector (DSI) men and women should not be less than 21 years and should not be more than 28 Years. The age of the applicant should be as on 25th January 2017.

Application fee:- Interested and eligible candidates applying for the position of Detective Sub – Inspector (DSI) men and women are required to pay application fee Rs 250/- for general categories candidates  / other backward class categories candidates and s 100/- for schedule class categories candidates / schedule tribe categories candidates. Payment of application should be made in stat bank of India collect. Applicants have to fill the application and generate the Challan and make the payment in the respective bank.

Upper Age Relaxation:- The age relaxation to the candidates applying for the position of Detective Sub – Inspector (DSI) men and women is only for the following special categories:-
i) 5 years for candidates belonging to Schedule caste (SC) categories candidates.
ii) 5 years for candidates belonging to Schedule Tribe (ST) categories candidates.
iii) 3 years for candidates belonging to 2A categories candidates.
iv) 3 years for candidates belonging to 2B categories candidates.
v) 3 years for candidates belonging to 3A categories candidates.
vi) 3 years for candidates belonging to 3B categories candidates.

Organization Profile:-

The Government of Karnataka is a democratically elected body with the governor as the constitutional head.
