Shift attendant:-

  • Qualification/ Eligibility Criteria:- Eligible applicants applying for the position of shift attendant should have passed matriculation with two year ITI course in relevant trade and with a minimum 60% marks in respect of general categories candidates and 55% marks of schedule caste categories candidates of Haryana domicile and knowledge of Hindi / Sanskrit up to matric standard or higher standard.
  • Candidate Salary detail:- Rs  5200 – 20200/- Per Month
  • Age Limit (In yrs.):- The age of the eligible applicant applying for the position of shift attendant should not be less than 18 years and should not be more than 42 years.
  • Mode of Selection:- The selection of the eligible applicant applying for the position of shift attendant will be on the basis of written examination and personal interview.

Upper division clerk:-

  • Qualification/ Eligibility Criteria:- Eligible applicants applying for the position of upper division clerk should have bachelor degree in commerce with at least 60% marks for general categories candidates and 55% marks for schedule caste categories candidates of Haryana domicile from any university recognized for the government of Haryana and knowledge of Hindi / Sanskrit up to matric standard or higher education with “O” level course.
  • Candidate Salary detail:- Rs  5200 – 20200/- Per Month
  • Age Limit (In yrs.):- The age of the eligible applicant applying for the position of upper division clerk should not be less than 18 years and should not be more than 42 years.
  • Mode of Selection:- The selection of the eligible applicant applying for the position of upper division clerk will be on the basis of written examination and personal interview.

Lower division clerk:-

  • Qualification/ Eligibility Criteria:- Eligible applicants applying for the position of lower division clerk should have bachelor degree in commerce with at least 60% marks for general categories candidates and 55% marks for schedule caste categories candidates of Haryana domicile from any university recognized for the government of Haryana and knowledge of Hindi / Sanskrit up to matric standard or higher education with “O” level course.
  • Candidate Salary detail:- Rs  5200 – 20200/- Per Month
  • Age Limit (In yrs.):- The age of the eligible applicant applying for the position of lower division clerk should not be less than 18 years and should not be more than 42 years.
  • Mode of Selection:- The selection of the eligible applicant applying for the position of lower division clerk will be on the basis of written examination and personal interview.

Assistant Law officer:-

  • Qualification/ Eligibility Criteria:- Eligible applicants applying for the position of assistant law officer should have LLB degree from any university recognized by government of Haryana with three year practice as an advocate.
  • Candidate Salary detail:- Rs  5200 – 20200/- Per Month
  • Age Limit (In yrs.):- The age of the eligible applicant applying for the position of assistant law officer should not be less than 18 years and should not be more than 42 years.
  • Mode of Selection:- The selection of the eligible applicant applying for the position of assistant law officer will be on the basis of written examination and personal interview.

Application fee:- Interested and eligible applicants applying for any position are required to pay application fee:-

  1. Rs 150/- for Male Female general candidates of Post No. 2 to 4 / 6 to 10 / 16 / 17 / 19 to 23 / 25 / 29 to 31 / 34 to 36 / 58 to 61.
  2. Rs 75/- for Female of Haryana resident general candidates of Post No. 2 to 4 / 6 to 10 / 16 / 17 / 19 to 23 / 25 / 29 to 31 / 34 to 36 / 58 to 61.
  3. Rs 35/- for SC / BC / SBC / EBPG male candidates of Haryana of Post No. 2 to 4 / 6 to 10 / 16 / 17 / 19 to 23 / 25 / 29 to 31 / 34 to 36 / 58 to 61.
  4. Rs 18/- for SC / BC / SBC / EBPG female candidates of Haryana of Post No. 2 to 4 / 6 to 10 / 16 / 17 / 19 to 23 / 25 / 29 to 31 / 34 to 36 / 58 to 61.
  5. Rs 100/- for Male Female general candidates of Post No. 1 / 5 / 11 to 15 / 18 / 24 / 26 to 28 / 32 / 33 / 37 to 57.
  6. Rs 50/- for Female of Haryana resident general candidates of Post No. 2 to 1 / 5 / 11 to 15 / 18 / 24 / 26 to 28 / 32 / 33 / 37 to 57.
  7. Rs 35/- for SC / BC / SBC / EBPG male candidates of Haryana of Post No. 1 / 5 / 11 to 15 / 18 / 24 / 26 to 28 / 32 / 33 / 37 to 57
  8. Rs 18/- for SC / BC / SBC / EBPG female candidates of Haryana of Post No. 1 / 5 / 11 to 15 / 18 / 24 / 26 to 28 / 32 / 33 / 37 to 57

Age Relaxation:- The upper age relaxation to the applicants is only for the following special categories:-
i) 5 years for candidates belonging to Schedule caste (SC) categories candidates.
ii) 5 years for candidates belonging to Schedule Tribe (ST) categories candidates.
iii) 3 years for candidates belonging to Other Backward class (OBC) categories candidates.

Important Dates:-

  • Starting date for the submission of online application is 5th March 2016.
  • Last date for the submission of application is 4th April 2016.
  • Last date for the submission of application fee is 7th April 2016.

General Instruction:-

  1. The number of vacancies to be filled up on the basis of this examination will be as per the vacancies to the intimated for the Commission by each of the cadre authority participating in this examination.
  2. Provided that the upper age limit may be relaxed in respect of such categories of the person as may be notified from time to time in this behalf by the Central government to the extent any subject to the condition notified in respect of each category.
  3. Applicants exercising the option to answer the papers either in English or in Hindi.
  4. The option once exercised will be final and no request for change of option will ordinarily be entertained.
  5. The applicants who do not pass the said type-writing test within the period of probation shall be liable to be reverted to their substantive appointment or temporary posts held by their before their appointment to lower division grade.
  6. Applications received after the closing date or not accompanied by photograph in the manner prescribed shall be rejected summarily.
  7. A candidate must submit his / her application through the head of his / her department or office concerned who will complete the endorsement at the end of the application form and forward it to the commission.
  8. Applicants are not entitled to receive any travelling allowance form the staff selection commission for taking the examination.

Staff Selection commission (SSC) is an organization under government to recruit staff for various posts in the various ministers and departments of the government of India and a subordinate offices. This commission is an attached office of the department of personnel and training which consist of chairman / two members and a secretary – cum – controller of examination. His post is equivalent to the level of additional secretary to the government of India.

The Staff Selection commission (SSC) has its headquarters at New Delhi.
